Remote Oil Filter Housing Take-off
The mountune Racing oil take-off plate is to be used in conjunction with a remote oil filter housing allowing the most amount of engine to chassis clearance, accessibility and flexibility in positioning the oil filter location. This product also allows an in-line oil cooler to be fitted.
This take-off plate has 2 x ½” BSP threads in which mountune Racing can supply 2 x ½” BSP to -10AN adaptors to provide a union for oil lines to and from the filter head. The housing also has a pressure sensor take-off which uses an M10x1.25 thread and another M10x1.25 thread which can be blanked or used as a turbo oil feed.
The plate bolts straight up to the 1.8, 2.0, 2.3, 2.5 Duratec and 2.0l EcoBoost engines and is ideal for installations with a limited amount of packaging space – as used in the mountune Racing prepared 2.0L EcoBoost NGTC British Touring Car Championship and Chinese Touring Car Championship Super Production 2.0T engines.

All oil filter housings / take-off plates are supplied with O-rings to seal to the block in place of the OEM filter housing. Not supplied with a filter or oil in & out fittings although can be supplied with temp and pressure sensors, fittings and seals as per the customer’s requirements. AN fittings can be supplied at an additional cost.
