The profiled and detailed billet aluminium body utilises a pressed steel locating gear to ensure exact fitment and operating performance, whilst the billet steel counterweights ensure smooth and engaging shifts are maintained over the OE setup, despite significantly shortening the planes of gear-shift movement by a careful optimised 20%, both side-to-side and front to back.

In addition, the mountune short shifter is also supplied as standard with billet cable ends, removing the factory part and providing a reduction in play and an improved, more precise feeling when changing gear.
